Two outstanding Jewish summer camps!

TheZone’s two exceptional Jewish sleepaway camps are comprised of separate, fully-equipped campuses for the Boys and Girls Divisions. Conveniently located in close proximity in the upper Catskill region of New York, our camps run through the summer and attract staff and campers from around the world. Funded by Kars4Kids, TheZone maintains the latest state of the art facilities to enhance their campers’ summers.

Activities at TheZone

With its world-class resort facilities and top-notch staff, TheZone can offer a uniquely diverse mix of leisure, sports and recreational activities every day. Specialty workshops include woodworking, leather craft and martial arts for the boys and hair styling, baking and kickboxing for the girls. There’s horseback riding and cow milking for the animal lovers and a music studio and talent show for the aspiring performer. So whether you’re an athlete or an art enthusiast, there’s something for everyone at TheZone’s Jewish sleepaway camp.

Our Mission

TheZone Jewish sleepaway camps are a division of Oorah, a larger organization that enhances the lives of Jewish families nationwide. TheZone experience continues even after camp is over with Oorah’s year-round events and programs. From Shabbat and holiday retreats at TheZone, to holiday packages and weekly Chillzone events , TheZone campers and their families are invited to participate and enjoy all the benefits Oorah has to offer.
